The point is bad code should just sit there and be bad code. Red X’s and all that. It shouldn’t just be summarily erased.

I suspect some WordPress anti-spam engine has gotten a bit too enthusiastic.

I edited the post to put in:

(Use square brackets instead of squirrely)

and it produces a YouTube player that hasn’t gone away yet. But it’s smaller than I recall yours being (I watched it too; nice but the speed of sound was a problem. But I digress.). Can you remember how you did it?

Sometimes it’s the tag link, and sometimes the code for an embedded YouTube.

I’ve repaired the posts now, but the “Singularity” post did this twice. It happened to the “America Still Unenlightened” post.

The embedded video in the “Ode to Joy” post is now gone.
