It was in Obama's autobiography.

"Splitting" people's lips. I posted one of the quotes.

Did it register? Did you read about his sneering at a fellow black student as a "Tom?" There's quite a list of things that the media decided "wasn't important" while they had squads of people going over every inch of the history of Republican candidates. Obama drove drunk. That was in his own book, too.

Remember the liberal shrieking over Bush's DUI?

If Obama had led a group of friends to assault another student in high school the right wing media would be accusing him of being a former gang leader!

Whoa.

So how is it down at the bottom of the Kool-Aid pool with Buck? And the mainstream media.

Do you understand the ramifications of there even having to be a "winger press?"

All I know about Bush is that no conservative ever put him on a candle, or drew him with a halo.

The scariest thing about 2008 was the outright worship. A nation full of "Fuehrerbait."

After 4 years of sniffing drainpipes, the Right hasn't turned up anything that would have prevented Obama from being elected in 2008, much less in 2012. Meanwhile, your candidate avoids being interviewed by the real media, has yet to demonstrate a consistent position on any issue, and has even gone into hissy fits in response to fair questions by lapdog Fox reporters.

Instead, the winger press and its lackeys is conducting its own campaign blubbering inconsolably about how the Palin harpy was soooo abused, while pretending that their own Jewel in the Crown, their Great White Hope, Bush the Younger, never even existed.

Over and above any ideological differences, the real reason the Right hates Obama so much is that he is an intelligent, articulate, accomplished and well-rounded human being; educated and cultured, a true mensch. He's a man his followers are proud of, while his opponent is an empty suit, mistrusted and despised by his own supporters, a blatant white bread, lo-cal spread phony who can't even garner an enthusiastic endorsement from any of his party's leaders. He only succeeds at reminding everyone of the guy who fired their Dad.

The rest of the GOP all come across like a gang of used car salesmen, sleazebag Vegas gangsters, television evangelists, and game show hosts. White trash with money.

Not quite.

The "best we can come up with" involves the economy, jobs, complete economic illiteracy, and an administration who tried to convert this country into Europe, and almost made it.

How many more "shiny objects" can Axelrod come up with?

This particular "Kenya" bit was a direct response from Breitbart.com to the idiotic high-school incident flap. Breitbart decided after that to start doing the "vetting" the mainstream media never did, to make a point. It took them a few days to find that item. If a Republican had pulled that "born in Kenya" thing, it would have been front page news in the Washington Post.

As far as the media was concerned in 2008, Obama's past was of no importance while Republicans? They needed microscopic examination. It hasn't been forgotten what they did to Palin, either.

The media still feels that way in this election cycle, assigning squads of reporters to interview Romney's classmates. Let me know when they start poking around Obama's classmates. Or print anything that might keep him from being re-elected.

Its like watching a trout thrashing about in the bilge of a canoe.

The Cons hate this man, loath him and everything he stands for. They even despise everything they've convinced themselves he stands for. They call him a liar, fool, weakling, criminal, Communist, traitor, un-American; in fact, they suspect he's not American at all. And after 4 years in the White House, this is the best they can come up with.

And remember, Tom is smarter than most of these troglodytes.

There are witnesses who saw Romney assault the gay kid. When confronted with the report Romney DID NOT DENY IT. He instead apologized for any hurt he caused as a youth. THAT WAS HIS RESPONSE.

And if your mind-numbingly stupid conspiracy about Obama claiming for 20 years he was from Kenya is true, where are all the witnesses to that?

You're so far out in the ozone layer on this I have to question your sincerity here. You know this is total bullshit, you are just playing the game.

"...a factual account of Mitt Romney committing assault and battery on a gay high school kid."

It's interesting to see how people filter out information they just don't want to plug into their equations.

You keep using the exact word "factual" in that context. That's your brain trying to tell you something.

It is a fact that Obama's agency, Dystel and Goderich, who also represented the famous book Obama did publish, had that "mistake" uncorrected by either the author or anyone else on its brochures and website up until 2007. It is inconceivable that in all those year Obama never took a look at his own publicity. It would make him not only unique, but an utter freak among famous authors.

He is either extraordinarily dense or he liked having that information there. We'd know a lot more if the media spend a fiftieth of the time digging information up about their favorite candidate as they have his opposition.

Someone made a mistake and then in no uncertain terms says it was completely their mistake, and the rightwing then makes some bat shit crazy claim that the president wanted to sell a boatload of copies of a book that was never finished, thus he secretly lied for many years that he was born in another country because he thought sounding glamorous and exotic would help sell this never published book.

And that, according to TB, is exactly analogous to a factual account of Mitt Romney committing assault and battery on a gay high school kid.

Only in the rightwing universe.
