Hopefully it won’t be a smack-down. At over 2000 pounds and with a new ‘sky crane’ to lower it to the ground, it might be a nailbiter.

I wonder what would happen if it landed on a steep slope since their target area is 12 by 4 miles? But since Gale crater is 96 miles in diameter, it should be a piece of cake…
