Out at Loon Lake near Lake Tahoe, there was this guy who was fishing for trout. It began to get later and later in the day, but he didn't want to leave without a good catch. Eventually, he got a big one (And when I say big here I mean BIG), and while attempting to get the hook out of the think, it came out and went clean into his eye. It was a huge, bloody mess, and they ran an ambulance out there, but he wouldn't leave without a picture of him and his trout. After arguing with him for a while, they finally complied, and took the picture; of him just standing there with a hook in his eye with blood and eye stuff running down his face, while he was holding the monster trout and grinning like he had won the Noble Peace Prize.

I hear the local Fish and Game Warden owns a copy, and will show it to anyone who asks to see it XD

What a guy! In all that, only two obscenities escaped him.

I can guarantee I would have taken some of these things less calmly.

He sells DVDs of this on his website.

I caught a feisty small mouth bass with a foil gum wrapper. I will never forget the day. My Dad heard the fish come flying out of the river..(St. Lawrence) and the excited look on his face was priceless. I was dumbfounded.

One time Dad told me to throw the boat bummper over because we were about to dock. I did as I was told being the dutiful daughter I was.

Dad: "WHERE'S THE BUMPER???"
Me:..."I dunno...somewhere...I threw it over"

A friend and I went to Grimes lake 2 years ago for opening day. We got tired of being beaten by the wind (white caps) and put into to a rocky shore for awhile. Had to climb the rocks down the shore to get a place to cast.

After about 10mins I look down and see a small rattlesnake at my friends feet. It was slowly slithering back into the rocks so I didn't say anything to my buddy until afterwords so he didn't jump.

That's thing about rattlesnakes, if you look for them you don't find them. You usually just run into them.
