The GOP election year politics started before Obama even took the oath of office. We’ve had 3.5 years of GOP election year politics. They have proven over the last 18 years to be a party that is enormously irresponsible both in and out of power.

Romney ducking the question on whether he would overturn Obama’s executive order was a display in cowardice. Can’t offend those Tea Party folks now who don’t like those brown folks from down south.

Republicans want illegal immigrants because they drive down the wages of all workers.

Here’s the myth – Democrats want illegal immigrants because they tend to vote Democratic. The reality is that non-citizens can’t vote. Which leaves what?

That Republicans like illegal immigrants, encourage illegal immigrants and hire illegal immigrants. It works to their advantage, as the immigrants take the jobs Americans don’t want, such as carpenters, clerks, assembly workers, plumbers, truck drivers, baseball players, the real scut stuff upon which we all depend. And don’t join Unions. God bless ‘em and their employers.
