How does one get Facebook off their computer? Completely. June 25, 2012 7:20 am bowser

That ubiquitous cancer is spreading.  I am getting reminders, requests, “friend” stuff from friends of friends of friends.  I would like it gone – no more emails, no more notifications, no more nothing.  But I can’t find out how to get away from it.

Once that’s completed I will notify ever site which wants me to connect through Facebook I will no long visit them.

I might well wind up lonely, with no internet access at all.  That will be better than spending my life in thrall to Facebook.

Anyone know how to get them off a computer?
