I'm convinced our world is determined by unseen relationships like this one. Occasionally we stumble onto one, exposing it, but we still seem to think we are in charge of our own destinies. Our behavior is the result of historical, cultural, social, economic, psychological and biological forces operating subliminally. This is not a surrender to determinism. Recognizing you are a slave is the first step to freedom. and a very reasonable conjecture, on your part.
