And second, let me say, whoa, that was two hours ago and it's still stuck?

That's the NASA TV address I've always used, and it's usually pretty reliable.

Showing a still shot of the docking now. Not sure if that's what's actually on, or if it's frozen.

I posted in a hurry and I wasn't too clear. I'm pretty sure that it was the NASA TV stream itself that failed. At least, insofar as a Linux PC, a Windows PC, and the NASA app on an Android got the same results: that one stream frozen, other streams I tried worked fine.

No doubt just a few hundred read Alan's article and tuned in to see a six-hour launch-to-docking run. On Sunday thousands will try to tune in to Curiosity's landing. Damn those harbingers anyway.

Nevertheless, I think I'll roll the dice and embed a NASA TV player on the page before Sunday. Worth a shot anyway.

This was just annoying, but losing the feed on Sunday would actually hurt.

Bummer. NASA TV stream froze before docking with the view from a mono camera aboard progress. The ustream HD stream was playing reruns, until after the docking, then it went live. Sheesh. That was disappointing.

To kind of rub my nose in it, when I first started watching, a popup appeared saying I'd been chosen to take a customer satisfaction survey, after my "session". That was the last I heard about any customer satisfaction survey. All I can do is come here and whine.
