Calculating the actual output of any wind turbine is a non-trivial problem.

I used a calculator I found on the web, and “my device” can deliver 27,000 joules either in a short amount of time or over a longer interval.

What I wanted to figure out is how this compares to the energy input require to run a wind generator. Quite a few variables for me.

The “technology” was around during the 1800′s but was used for a completely different purpose.

If it could work, I think it would replace or augment a wind turbine for a single household with a 12v system.
