Don't you think it would be simpler if you just went with the program?" When you have trouble with left and right you stand out, and you do NOT want to stand out. Terrible situation, and you'd think you could get over it. You can, to a large degree, and then you let up and "BANG", you're marching into a bunch of other guys. No fun. “No Bowser, your other left!”
