The compatibility <strike>pedal</strike>icon is nestled between the refresh and search icons, pretty much begging to be clicked by mistake. Poor UI design. Everybody steps in that minefield eventually.

A mode which, ironically, breaks a lot of Web sites that conform to modern standards. What it does is effectively downgrade IE to an earlier version, 6, 7, or 8 depending on arcane divinations, warts and all.

There's an icon of a broken document in the address bar. It's always broken, which I'm sure means something. When it's filled-in blue, compatibility mode is on and the Zone is broken. When it's a hollow outline, compatibility mode is off and the Zone works fine. When it's blue, click it.

Makes perfect sense to me.

Robert, good to see you, have you ever seen this before? The Zone is still zoned as seen through IE, which is full updated, as far as I know. Internal pages are also wacked.

Using Chrome right now.

Screen cap from the dashboard last night:

Went to the front page and it did look a bit wonky, but thereafter, inside pages were OK, and the front page was OK when I went back. Sounds like one of those weird transients. If the condition persists, please let me know.
