It's a privilege. Little known fact is that about half our patients go home. They get better, not well but better. Often they come from hospitals who only know how to kill pain with large doses of narcotics, and where in an effort they have been treated with things which make you very sick. Not their fault, simply what they do. The reality is that I need them more than they need me. It’s a privilege.

They gave us the support that allowed him to die at home with his family around him. I'll never forget their selfless care and how much it meant to a family in tears. I admire your work there.
