I love it. But Rambo Republicans are going to have to face it, both Romney and Ryan are as virginal on national defense issues as Obama was in 2008. At least Biden was a long serving member and chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee, and he has a son in the Army, so he has some related experience. McCain and Kerry actually experienced combat. But that was then, this is now.

Of course, this does not mean that the GOP candidates won't be able to eventually handle the job, with good advice and good instincts. Obama certainly did, and quite well too, thank you.

But the fact remains, as of right now, they are totally untested, and Obama is by now completely seasoned in the role. He has 4 years as CIC, and he has kept us out of new wars, got us out of an old one, and wrapping up a third on his schedule. As far as the drone campaign, Al-Quaeda and Bin Ladin, well...

The GOP is in total disarray on where to go from here. They complain because he got too(or not sufficiently) involved in Libya, stayed out of Egypt, is leaving Afghanistan, left Iraq, won't get into Syria, and isn't going into Iran. Monday morning quarterbacking, before the game even gets played.
