Unless something is done in the dark months between the election and the end of the year, annual taxes will go up almost half a billion dollars. Across the board.
Decisions are going to have to be made. Possibly by a lot of lame ducks. I have no doubt the House will vote to keep taxes low. The final decisions will be made by Obama and the Democratic Senate, which can simply ignore the House as it has for two years now, and spike any Democratic budgets from the President and Senate. As it has for more than two years now.
Interesting times.
