Can't say as I blamed 'em, though what people do with symbols doesn't really matter. It's not as if the creator of that tasteless mess was waterboarding Christ. And the Republican Party has become a parody of a satirical spoof, and then has the audacity to blame the media for reporting the facts of their implosion. It's very hard to report on a group of people digging a hole and then pulling it in on top of themselves without seeming to be ridiculous. What does the Bible say? Something about "sow greed, hostility, hatred, violence and reap greed, hostility, hatred, and violence"? Or is it "sow ridiculousness, reap laughter and scorn". I can't keep track any more.
