Compare and contrast with what mouthpiece Christy said about Romney's debating skills last Sunday.

What I've noticed...

Is that "conventional wisdom" judgments on the candidates' speaking ability and communication skills seem to have completely inverted themselves from just a short time ago.

Seriously, how many different excuses can you make for the Smartest Person in the World constantly acting like he's anything but?

They're not just lowering the bar for Obama's expectations, they're dropping it into the Challenger Deep. If Obama gets through the debate without actually crapping himself on stage, the media will declare him a winner.

You've noticed that parties try to lower expectations before a debate? Good for you!

Liberal pundits, White House advisors, the DNC, and others seem to be working very hard right now to lower expectations for "Barack H. Obama, Super Genius" in the coming debates.

One spin I've seen is that he's just too damn busy to prepare. You know, being "eye candy" on The View and all. This is similar to the "he sounds like an idiot without the teleprompter because his brain just goes too fast for clear speaking" meme.

You're right.

The media should just ignore the opposition.

As if anyone could be the equal of our Dear Leaders. People like Romney and Ryan cower in the intellectual shadows of giants like Obama and Biden.

Nonsense should be ignored, and defined by people like you.

When I think about it, it's kind of a shame we even have to have more than one political party at all, isn't it? Or waste all this time with elections?
