Either there is afterlife or there is not. And both concepts may be true. Perhaps some people are simply autonomously programmed robots and are in that sense only alive in similar manner as a robot would be. Other people may be more than just the body and a computer for a brain, such peoples “life force” would be constructed out of a higher frequency energy that has the same form as the body. Such higher frequency energy by itself would be eternal, but it could be lowered in its frequency and therefore efficiency by various interactions on this plane of existence. That is my take on the subject at this moment in time. Obviously there are two ways of looking at the situation.
