Wouldn't have much of a varmint problem if I wanted to go lethal. At that, I'd have to figure out something a lot quieter and with less potential collateral damage than a gun.

But war is my last option. :)

I don't really have anything in the pond worth killing something over. I just wouldn't mind the water lilies getting to the blooming stage someday. I do worry about the kind of bugs raccoons can carry, but I don't have kids or pets here anymore.

And I'm doing well. As with everything there are ups and downs, but for the most part, things have been going very well.

My blog attracted several stalkers and one persistent stalker. My email was hacked and someone assumed my identity on my old Hotmail address. So if anyone still is using my old email, and someone responds - it's not me. So I stopped blogging and transferred the blogs address. I gave up 8 years of Google search engine clout and tons of traffic in the process. I archived my blog, so it's not really gone, merely out of the Google limelight. Being in the public eye and holding controversial viewpoints is bound to generate some friction.

I was laughing when I saw you post. It shows how everything is frequency relationship and that time and space differences are illusory. Yes, after all these years, the links remain active. Congratulations on your new granddaughter! I'm sure she is adorable!

Yes, I admit I came here to visit mainly to goad some people and to stir the pot. The pot is a lot smaller though, and it;s not percolating and steaming like it used to.

Before I depart again, after election day, I will leave my new email in a post that I will leave up for a day or so and then will then be deleted. Though, I know, all I will have to do to find the last of the Zoners is to visit here again. ;)

Yes, it's good to see EVERYONE still here, I must admit I feel surprised. I feel like I left town and went to another school (I did).
And yes, this is my first grandchild and she is sooo precious. I'd post pictures, but everyone over here is so damn paranoid keeping secrets about themselves.
And I want to fit in.
I see you're still having trouble with the raccpons. Over here it's the groundhogs...got me a Smith and Wesson....for when the groundhog man isn't around.

And me?

I'm still being lectured by Bowser on paranoia and reality. :)

Good to have you around, Lindy. That grandchild you mentioned elsewhere, is that your first? I've forgotten.

Good to read you. Yep, I'm here, again, sometimes don't like myself for it.

Although there is a lot to learn from ER and podrock, RobVGs measured approach to things is something to learn, alcaray has that too, and TB continues to be likable and charming while from my point of view disconnected from reality. That part is frustrating, as one could point out a blackboard to him as black, and he'd say it was light gray, very light, and if only the media wouldn't call it black over and over everyone would realize it is almost white. I can't blame him for his paranoia, as to him anyone who is registered Democratic is a communist hell-bent on taking away his precious belongings and giving them to the corner drug dealer. And a policeman (clearly a communist) is watching his house to force him at gunpoint to use the correct light bulb. Or worse, instead of shooting him he got hit with a fine. If I thought that I'd be worried, too.

Oh, I try to calm him, do my best. Point out that with his head where it is things pretty much have to look bad. I reassure him that the drug and energy companies are maintaining record profits even in these hard times. And agree with him that the world got along well without polar bears before and will again. It's not as if they are necessary. Nor are canaries. He doesn't seem to appreciate the attempt to comfort, identify.

FrankC has found Facebook, Robert is sporadic but does a great job of keeping this thing going, worked endlessly hard to create a workable display.

And that's abut it from here. Good, as I said, to read you.
