The only thing a president has to do to promote economic growth...

Is get the hell out of the way.

Same for energy production, and a lot of other things.

It's not that the Democrats have been failing to do things, they've been actively screwing up the things that already work.

He'll need to explain his tax policy and give some specifics about the deductions. He'll also have to state that he's relying on trickle down economics to drive the economy to a point were increased revenue will ensure he won't have to raise taxes on the middle class.

He'll be asked about the 47%. In mid September Romney stood by what he said, which increased his stock with me. Now he's saying he was totally wrong.

Personally I'd like him tell us what regulations he's going to roll back and how he'll promote domestic energy production.

The whole take on the coming debate is interesting.

I'm hearing about Obama working on attitude, aggressiveness, energy, tactics, style...

What's missing is anything that has anything to do with the brain. Ideas, policies, philosophies, numbers...you know, all that boring crap.

Any dictator in history had style, energy, passion, and speaking skills. I don't consider these prime virtues in a politician.

And what the hell, it'll probably work. We seem to be selecting for stupidity in this country. Might be good for politicians, who think the ideal voter is one who'll vote for you if you give them a cookie, but not so good for the country.

For me, it seems that the Republicans have a firmer grasp on the long term solutions.

Democrats appear to have band aid remedies.

I have never done this in any previous election. I always voted for what I saw as the greater good or at least the lesser evil.

I am convinced that the Obama health care plan will cause me to lose my Medicare Advantage plan. This is the single item that guarantees I will vote for Romney.

Neither candidate will fulfill their promises but I do feel more confident that the economy will do better under Romney.
