It called up an image something like the dance of the hippos in Disney's <i>Fantasia,</i> too. That's a pretty vivid and detailed dream, alcaray. I tend to have only brief flashes for dreams, or impressionistic vignettes. Even my fight with the alien took place in the blink of an eye, "and then he woke up", as the cliche goes. I'm jealous of you guys who get to have actual adventures in your dreams, with logic and narrative and everything.

...with a fantasy/scifi kernal in it. I was in some arid primitive region and we had these giant komodo dragon sort of things for beasts of burden. They were a bit shorter and taller and higher off the ground compared to the real thing- proportionately, though, as they were quite huge. We were in a sort of caravan of a long string of these things and we were just about to set off.

I had an important function in this caravan as I was the leader/dancer sort of person. The thing was, you had to hold a bridle from the first beast and do sort of a rhythmic walk dance while leading it. If you were skilled, it would become sort of hypnotized and match your gait. The following lizards would follow and match the gait, all through the line to the last of them. As you convinced them to follow, you could increase the speed and decrease the dance-like part. But you had to continue to hold a beat or everything would stop and you would have to start over.

...sounds like fun. ;D

Yes, I didn't have a flying dream until a year or so ago, even after thousands upon thousands of dreams. I also had a lucid dream about half a year ago where I was able to control the dream for a few seconds and see how my old HS flames look now...haha! I woke up quickly but I have no doubt that the visions were true. My ind couldn't have conjured up some of the changes.

I'm almost never the aggressor either. The exception to that rule is fights with family members where I may shove or punch first. But those dreams are pretty rare now.

The dream world is a fascinating place. I have like three boxes full of notepads that will make fodder for a fascinating book or study.

I have dreamed of a ZA (zombie apocalypse) s couple of times

Oddly though I feel no fear and I am able to dodge my way around the undead shamblers without getting bitten. The dream is very brief and I have never gotten around to the fun psrt of putting down the buggers.

The one most magnificent dream I had back 20 years ago and is as vivid today as it was then. It was not a sci fi dream but the Zoners would believe it to be so.

It changed my life forever. The dream was a priceless gift. I have had one other dream about 10 years ago to the day (actually November 6th).
My father remembered my birthday. He died 12 years ago.

While I didn't see any zombies, during Act I, it was made clear to me that I was to go on a clean-up mission as part of a squad and was issued an ad-hoc projectile weapon.

Act II consisted of getting to know the people, the house I was staying in, then the neighborhood. The city was known to me, but I wasn't sure exactly which area, I recall consulting my GPS at one point.

Act III was me on a bus, headed across town, possibly on the mission. The teenager kid next to me on the bus was a font of information - he's the one that told me about the crime of window breaking and pointed out all the greenhouses. There was more to this conversation, but given Lindy's advice . . .

Then the series was cancelled before it could get to Acts IV and V by the studio exe's, who wanted to go to a reality show.
