Then I would have to fight traffic (which in SoCal can be very bad indeed) to get to my teaching gig on time, after work. On those occasions, I changed out of my suit and into my aerobics gear while driving. Since traffic was bad, however, there were plenty of times when the car was stopped and I could act fairly safely.
