The guy he was running against was from the stone age. No brainer there. Pick the far lesser of two evils.

I know next to nothing about Casey or his opponent Tom Smith. With Casey being a democrat I imagine his views are more in line with mine on a wide range of issues, even if not on abortion. I doubt Smith was to the left of Casey on abortion anyway, although it’s possible I could be wrong.

I don’t normally poke someone who doesn’t respond to something (I often don’t myself), but I’d really like to see your take on this.

By your definition, not mine, these two men are anti-woman, one of the worst crimes ascribed to Republicans. Why do they get your support?

Joe Donnelly is strongly pro-life. Bob Casey supported overturning Roe vs. Wade. The sick part is you'd still vote for them anyway. Does a Democratic party hack have to just stand outside your polling place and ring a little bell?

of course someone like Elizabeth Warren in the Senate is vastly preferable to someone like me over any moderate republican. I’d have preferred Lugar over Mourdock, but neither over Joe Donnelly.

Article Voted against conservatives constantly. But I suppose that's a more useful myth than "crushed by a Democratic machine," so that's the one the Democrats will sell, and you'll buy. There's your "moderate," Buck. How'd that work out for him when he got between the Democrats and power?
