TB, you’re going to have to come to terms with the concept that you are never going to become a middleman, a parasite living off the labor of others, gorging on excess wealth in the backeddies and whirlpools of the turbulent flow of economic entropy.

Its not the poor and the powerless who are preventing you from doing that. Its the very people whose position you aspire to. They simply don’t want you. They don’t need you. Believe me, I know. I’m just like you in many ways. Remember, I was the guy who was going to save the world by helping it efficiently manage its diminishing resources. Nobody needed me either, but I could see what was coming and was lucky enough to be able to take steps to protect myself and my family.

Don’t vote against your own self-interest, no one will reward your loyalty and sacrifice. You’re just another working man, a man who had a great deal to contribute but is not being allowed to do so simply because there is no place for you in someone elses business plan. Think of it. You were working to send Man to the stars, now you’re trying to sell children’s books.

The nation can no longer afford a middle class prospering from what trickles down off the groaning tables of the “job creators”. They squandered all the wealth and now are scrambling to ensure they can survive the coming decay. They will be ruthless.

I don’t know the canonization rules, exactly, but I heard you need two miracles to become a saint. Obama got elected with four trillion-dollar deficits in a row and a 50-year record for number of months of unemployment above 8 percent. So I guess that’s at least one.
