It's pretty clear I was on the edge of my seat. Before the first debate I was confident but still uneasy because there was so much time for things to change. After the first debate I was apoplectic. By the end of the third debate I felt the odds were even, despite the clear advantage Obama had in the electoral pathways to victory.

The Obama Admin response to hurricane Sandy was a morale boost for dems because it looked like a non-stop 5 day long campaign commercial. By election day I was cautiously optimistic, but prepared for the worst.

I pointed out in the week before the election that Obama was ahead in the polls in the swing states, and I wouldn't want to change sides with a Romney voter. Nonetheless, I made it clear I thought Romney still had a decent chance to win.

So yeah I was pleasantly surprised by the early win, and so was Obama and his campaign, but it was abundantly clear to anyone who lives outside the rightwing bubble that Obama was the odds on favorite.

Now compare that to the rants of SDAI-Tech talking about gloating all the way to the election. It was over. It wasn't even close. Blah blah.

You too were in denial of the polls. You can't be blamed though. The entire right wing universe had convinced itself that the polls were skewed and Romney would win by a landslide.

The fact you guys were so blindsided is a direct result of how insular your alternate universe is.

So again, my nervous confidence in the polls were proven to be reality based and your high level of confidence proved to be wishful thinking.

"Spin" (get it?) is a real physical quantity, quantitatively defined by a vector whose length is defined in the direction of the thumb when the curl of the fingers represents the direction of rotation. The right (get it?)hand is specified by convention to remove ambiguity.

The spin vector can now be subject to the manipulations of vector arithmetic, algebra and calculus. For example, a force (also a vector quantity with magnitude and direction) applied to that vector can create yet another vector, which is the precession vector.

I get the bunny, but what's with the pancakes?

The right hand rule for determining the spin vector

Hang on boys, TB is torquing up the spin machine
