You've tried to make that same point over and over and over. The world's coming economic collapse is due to the "awakening" of the Third World, the exploding population and the scarcity of resources.

There is no one economic system or political party to blame. Borders are porous to capital, flowing to the highest return and lowest wages. (See "Romney" for how that works.)

One could try to blame "entitlements", one could effectively blame military spending in the US, noting the rest of the world isn't that goddamned dumb, one could blame almost anything, welfare queens to generals. Ain't the cause.

Two more stressors. Global warmings' disruption of weather patterns affecting crops is a big one, and that can effectively be blamed upon the usual suspects - mega-corporations and extremists who follow them.

And the fight for fresh water is going to heat up drastically.

But don't blame entitlements unless you are willing to cut the ridiculous expenditures on a military which can't win a modern war.

A lot of the rest of the world has already passed us by.

On the way to the same precipice, and for the same reasons. Which was the point.

With globalization, the dilution of resources to Third World countries, with the white nations no longer the only consumers of energy and raw materials, there is going to be massive disruptions to the one-time dominate countries. There is no way around it.

Doesn't matter if they are capitalist, socialist, communist, Democrat, Republican, Libertarian or any combination, there are going to be massive problems as 6 or 7 billion people start sharing what was once controlled by 1 billion.

Keep trying to get back to 1912. It ain't gonna work. You aren't going to make it. It is 2012, and this is a different world.
