Those who think everyone should be free to screw everyone, usually do so in both the bedroom and the boardroom. Of course this has just been my own personal observation – your mileage may vary. There are sociopaths in all walks of life and all regions. But Silicon Valley is clearly one of the world’s capitals of corruption.

One of the things you fail to note is that with the demise of the small corporations the big ones become more corrupt. Walmart, Paypal/Ebay, Oil companies, all are proof that a lack of real competition leads to the immoral, corrupt corporations that no long seek to compete they seek to monopolize.

And who’s to blame for that? The antitrust division of the DOJ

Government is the ultimate corrupt “company”. It’s players are bought off all the time. This is true in the DOJ, FDA, EPA and every agency you care to think of.

The result? Small businesses and corporations get the shaft and the past twenty years have seen mergers that are fundamentally unsound for the free market.

If the free market isn’t really free and is a monopoly, one can’t go around complaining that all business people are evil and greedy sociopaths and that’s why we need a socialist world filled with those wonderfully honest and generous socialists.
