Romney's solution, cut taxes on the very wealthy, increase the military, and cut back on aid to the poor isn't the usual one. That was GWBs and the Conservative philosophy during the Bush administration, too, and nearly wrecked the economy. Obama sneakily got out the message that in times of financial difficulties the natural thing to do is increase the taxes on those who have 3 homes, 6 cars and a yacht, easing the burden on those who don't know how they are going to pay the heat bill. Obama knows that if you do away with the middle class by exporting jobs to maximize profits for the wealthy, removing the ability to earn medical insurance, then you have to provide medical care. Should be paid for by those who were busy exporting jobs. And he spent a lot of money getting that message out in various ways. Whereas Romney simply carried his message straight to the people, honestly, without spending much at all. A simple, honest man with a simple honest message delivered in a simple, honest way. And the American public was hoodwinked, bamboozled, led down the primrose path which, instead of primroses was lined with $10 bills to be stolen from the wealthy to their own destruction.
