But I think Netanyahu was pissed cause Romney didn’t get in and Obama had been ignoring him…he decided to rain holy hell on the Palestinians in Gaza this time because he CAN….and who’s to stop him?
He knew it would stir up more unrest and that the US would have to come in and aid them somehow…so now he has us exactly where he wants us…in the Sinai peninsula and just WAIT for him to antagonize Iran (who have already vowed to avenge the slaughter in Gaza)…he can do whatever he wants, and once they start shooting; we’ll have to step in and SAVE THE DAY!
Bingo, Netanyahu will have his war…he forgets he is putting his whole country at risk for his BIG FREEKIN EGO.

They control the Suez Canal, much of the world’s cotton production, and are Muslim or something. We need to bring freedom and democracy to those people who are crying for liberty. Their women want to go to school, and their men want to go to sleep at night without fear of the “Black Mariah”.

We need to invade, let the people loot everything, disband all civil and military authority, and let the resulting anarchy teach ‘em a lesson.

Besides being Muslim or something they are dark colored and talk funny. al Qaeda has sleeper cells throughout the country. And the Christians in the country are persecuted just as they were in the old days.

The US needs to keep it’s record going. Everything it’s touched in the Middle East has caused much human suffering and then gone to hell. One has to ask oneself, “Why not Egypt, too? What makes them so special?”

Not really. The whole story includes the reports of two large protests, on opposite sides. The lights are on in Tahrir Square once again.

And nobody’s died.

Democracy is a process. It’s foolish to take a snapshot in time and hold it up as the final verdict.
