The Huffington Post is a business, it is perfectly appropriate to buy and sell businesses. Or is that a privilege that should be denied to liberals and reserved only for patriots?

Freedomworks is some kind of tax-exempt educational infotainment advertorial agitprop foundation bullshit entity. Its not a business, at least, it isn't chartered as one.

"Armey was concerned that Kibbe structured the deal to personally profit from the book despite relying on FreedomWorks staff and resources to research, help write and promote it — an arrangement he and others at the group believed could jeopardize its tax-exempt status."

Or didn't you bother to even read any further than paragraph four?

Since this is not a business, I suppose its funding actually does come from contributors. They are the ones who financed the research on Kibbe's little money-making side venture as well as Armey's handsome bonus for not making too much ruckus and to go away quietly. If I were a conservative donor, I would be pissed.

These guys carry corruption in their blood, like syphillis.

Arianna Huffington sold the Huffington Post for $315 million.

Contributors didn't get a nickel. Where were you?
