He's one of the few conservative regulars on MSNBC, along with Steve Schmidt and Michael Steele, and as he mentioned himself, he backed the NRA position until recently. He's still a conservative, he's only changed on this issue. As for the "anger in the populace", I don't know. I haven't conducted any surveys and I don't get out much. But they should be angry. This isn't like the Norwegian island massacre, regrettable but an isolated, freak incident. This is starting to happen frequently, way too frequently. People aren't angry, they're numb.
