As long as we have gun-totin' , flag waving, tax dodgin' shills for megacorporations decrying "entitlements" for citizens while advocating war and defense spending, subsidizing Big Pharma and Big Oil and Big Arms, we will remain a moral sump of a nation, repudiating the Geneva Convention, institutionalizing "collateral damage", breaking agreements faster than we can make them. As long as there are people who think the US exports freedom, encourages democracy, and promotes personal freedom from the belly of a B-52 the US will also remain one of the dumbest countries in the world.
