Some of this conversation has been complicated by differing statistics and differing interpretations.

For the record, I am neither pro-gun or anti-gun. Don’t own one. Maybe I should? Prohibitions have a poor record. Hard to put the cat in the bag when there are so many guns out there. Just how many lives would be lost trying to take the guns away? That alone would cause a civil war.
