I appreciate your concern Mary Anne. I am quite familiar with a drop in blood pressure and low blood sugar attacks as I have had both.

This is different.

I remember taking my kids to see a very old building that was on fire. We opened the cars windows. I got a whiff of the smoke and immediately got a vivid *photograph* of two close friends in my mind's eye.

Strange.
I like strange.

The brain is peculiar and it obviously changes as we age. When I do get the feeling it is milder.

I don't recall it ever being strong enough to make me dizzy but it was a notable experience back when.

It's like a mental double-take. I experience no physical symptoms apart from a puzzled look on my face and a moment's hesitation to process the phenomenon.

No smart-assery intended: If you continue to feel dizzy enough to have to hold on to something, even if it's not every time you experience deja-vu, please see a doctor. Low blood pressure could cause this, and though it itself needn't be serious, the concussion you might get if you fall would be. Low blood sugar, too. It could also be a marker for some neurological issue -- probably not (don't scare yourself with Dr. Google), but dizziness shouldn't be brushed off.
