Tom set the record straight with the NRA’ actual statement.

By responding with “And here I was trusting Rob’s description” you implied you were familiar with the NRA’s proposal.

The exact quote's been out there all this time.

Why bother to check? Robert has described LaPierre's idea of armed cops and guards in schools as "viciously psychopathically insane," and just above, indicates a "brain squirming like a toad." The New York Times called the idea "mendacious, delusional, almost deranged." There are already many schools who have such programs. I posted the statistics. Clinton funded a program like this years ago called "Cops in Schools," and now, as I pointed out, Obama is supporting the idea. You take it from there.

*They* kept quiet about it because there was enough carnage at Sandy Hook, two days prior. *They* didn’t want to add to the epidemic of hysteria. Christmas was a week away.

The one I recall, certainly was covered in the media. (note I only read through the first half of this stuff) So what’s your point? Are you claiming none of these were covered by the media? Or are we doing a TB shift where instead of supporting your crazy thesis that acts of gun heroism are not covered by the media, we are now offering evidence that acts of gun heroism do in fact exist? I never made, nor would I support the assertion that gun heroism does not exist, so such evidence should be addressed to somebody who cares.
