Windows 8 February 9, 2013 12:22 am bowser

Bought a laptop for the RV.  I wanted one with HDMI to connect to the TV set and both have antennas with rotors.  The wifi yagi is truly impressive, which is nice because I usually have something streaming on the TV while I’m using the computer.  The laptop came with Windows 8.

I am impressed that anyone would buy that system knowingly.  In order to get it to work one must have Microsoft accounts galore, in order to get email one must have Google accounts and all of them have usernames and passwords.  I cannot get it to sync with my Vista email and I believe, in my heart of hearts, Windows 8 has turned a good laptop into a piece of shit.

I’ll probably change my mind after I spend more time on it, but right now I think I was dumb as a box of rocks to buy the damned thing.
