“A homeowner fatally shot an intruder as he climbed through a window and into his home Monday afternoon, Dallas police say.

This makes up for all  the drive-by and mall and school shootings.  This is why we need guns.  What if the guy would have gotten inside?

Let’s not get excited and legalize mines and mortars, now.  I realize that if the guy had a mine under his window the fellow never would have gotten that far.

For the next ten years every time there’s a massacre and someone suggests limiting some aspect of gun and accoutrement ownership, this will be pointed out.  Never mind that it could have been a single shot .22 or might have been a small revolver, this will be used as an excuse for crew-served weapons.
