An interesting way to look at the February job numbers March 10, 2013 3:13 pm RobVG

“According to the household survey (on which the unemployment rate is based), the economy added a healthy 170,000 jobs. The survey also shows a tremendous increase of 446,000 part-time jobs…… What this means is that the economy actually shed 276,000 full-time jobs.”

170,000 full time jobs added. 446,000 part time jobs ADDED. Equals a net loss of 276,000 full-time jobs. Really? Really?

Adding a part time job means someone got laid off? I think it means the amount of unemployment benefits declined.
