Comet Panstarrs March 12, 2013 7:00 am SteveS

My first view of Panstarrs from the hills above Berkeley. Lots of fog and clouds at sunset but midway through twilight the comet became visible for a couple minutes then disappeared. Not very clear and no chance of detail but it was there.

Tonight Panstarrs will be next to a 1 day old moon for a easy find.

In the center of the pic. I posted it at Spaceweather where you can inlarge it for a better view.
