I’m not saying it’s not a serious problem, but when they say: ” the trend is going up and at faster and faster rates”- it makes you wonder if they’ve studied their own chart. It’s been linear since 1970.

You’d also think the chart would show an increase in the slope due to growing auto ownership in China and India. Maybe I’m missing something.
