And I’m not slamming you, Rob. Its perfectly legit to express skepticism and question assertions, as you did. Hell, I don’t agree either with many of the alarmist AGW statements flying around in the press and the blogs.

But the whole AGW meme is attacked ferociously by conservatives by implying the motives of its proponents must be sinister, and their observations either childish fear or malicious fabrications.

There is more to this opposition than just differences in data interpretation. It smacks to me of religious fanaticism.
