However, I'm told they work hard up there, are constantly busy, simply maintaining the thing. Except for keeping people in space for a long time it's useless, worthless, and priceless. Can't put a price on it. On the other hand, I think I was the only one around here to squawk his head off about the John Glenn boondoggle. One entire shuttle flight, the research being can we keep him alive. A cool 1 billion dollars if one counts the total costs. The NASA PR folks were spreading around "only" $100,000,000.s That’s a long time in a small space.
