A congressman saying, “the data shows,” is not the data. Curious still about the percentages.

Still trying to figure out why tea party groups wanted to be classified as social-welfare organizations. Would like to see their mission statements (etc.), ’cause I don’t see the connection.

Or did they just not want to pay taxes?

I know that the number of applications for this type of tax exemption jumped recently. I’d like to see the numbers of how many applications came from each side. Was it 50/50?

I know people who have started 501C3′s, slightly different animal, but according to them, still requires all kinds of paperwork hoops that only lawyers can navigate.
