It was essentially a T&A production from the beginning feature film. While the acting was adequate, the casting was weak and some of the characters (Stanley) were irritating. The Brunnen G battle song is probably the best single thing from the series. Nevertheless, I was hooked. I watched every single episode and mourned it's passing. :) You needed to embrace the badness that surrounded the occasional morsel of good SciFi.
