It's an old computer, with lots of programs and a clogged registry. After awhile, with a complex system, chaos sets in, and a single frelled dll frells everything. It is stable now, I can get work done on it, but I don't trust it connected to a network. And I gotta get the work done.

So I broke down and got a new one, and will bring the new one on line as I deconstruct the old one. If I can, the old one will be purely for work, and will only rarely see the network, or the internet. The new one is for the web.

Tired of Cylons interrupting my work stream.

Infected computer, or I frelled it by over-cleaning. So it's off, for now, and will only go on line for a few house cleaning tasks before I wipe the drive.

Posting from the laptop now, but might not be around much in the near future...

Wish me luck.

I've got a maximum disk cache size set in the Google Earth program to 2000MB. On a 500 GB drive, this is lost in the noise. What's your setting?

I've got version 7.0.3.8542
