Like on setting up a new account add the question “Press button two.” And below have three buttons labeled “1″, “2″, and “3″. Or ask them to key in the name of this site (a bit unwieldy here, since the site name is kinda long and maybe ambiguous – space between habitable and zone, or not?). Or something else that a human would have no trouble with, but a bot would get stuck on.

Based on the total count of registered users, these are all new accounts.

I don’t have the power to ban IP’s or domains, but all of these new ones have e-mails from celebrities-duels.com.

You can see the spams via the dashboard,all posts, trash.

I call tell there is a new spam post because there will be an empty entry over on the left hand side. I can see the posts on the dashboard, all posts tab.

I haven’t been deleting the users, just downgrading them so they can’t post, so as to preserve their info.

But I may just start to delete them.

I don’t have the option of seeing when new new members sign up, other than the total count.

Are these registered users being banned, or just spambots?

Spambots don’t care if you ban them. There’s a lot more where they came from.
