I did not say there was bad behavior on the part of the government. I said they do not always tell the truth or the whole story in matters concerning spying and espionage.

If you think all the information you have been given is accurate and the entire story, more power to you.

I don’t believe we have. Not necessarily for nefarious reasons.

Some of your questions have answers that are out there, if you want to dig for them.

Some of your questions are irrelevant, I think. But included in a scarey sounding list they have a desired effect.

If you have reason to think that there was bad behavior on the part of the government, then state what the bad behavior was, and show your reason for thinking it is true. Otherwise, you are just another crop-circle crank.

In what area was Whitman working? Who were her contacts? What secrets did she obtain? Who were her contacts? Were they prosecuted? What about the other NINE spies? What Americans did they subvert? Were they prosecuted? Why not?

What are Snowden’s secrets? Why did he go to Russia? Doesn’t it make sense that Russia would want to know what he does, and also keep it from the rest of the world? Whitman tweeted him – does that make it a serious proposal? Do they know each other, have they met?

Have you ever asked anyone to marry you in jest? I have.

The US is notoriously close-mouthed about spies and what they have found out. Russia the same. With good reason.

We will never, ever know the true story. We won’t know the true story about the Russian spies, about Snowden, about the secrets, or the interplay between all of them.

In fact, I think half, at least, of what we “know” now is not true. I really believe the US and Russia don’t want the depth of these matters known.
