The point: It’s obvious that a person who carries a concealed handgun with a permit is probably a lot less likely to commit a crime or killing with it than someone who carries one illegally.

It’s also obvious that the more restrictive gun laws are, the more the balance of gun possession will lean toward people who don’t obey laws, but that’s another subject.
