I&#039;ve taken basic precautions to avoid my home network being hacked, using highest standard encryption and more importantly, setting the network to &quot;private&quot; so it doesn&#039;t show up on the list of networks when someone turns on a wifi device nearby.

It&#039;s fun to turn on my Kindle at night and go down the list of neighbors.  All encrypted, but still waving their name flag.

Obviously, this only screens out casual non-pro users, but for most situations, that&#039;s enough.</description>
