I’ve taken basic precautions to avoid my home network being hacked, using highest standard encryption and more importantly, setting the network to “private” so it doesn’t show up on the list of networks when someone turns on a wifi device nearby.

It’s fun to turn on my Kindle at night and go down the list of neighbors. All encrypted, but still waving their name flag.

Obviously, this only screens out casual non-pro users, but for most situations, that’s enough.
