The internet service was perfect, fast enough and always reliable.

The TV service did not work for our family. They can only provide 4 tuners per family. If only one or two TV’s are used at the same time, it will probably be fine. We put too much demand on the 4 tuners and it didn’t work for us.

We use Dish now. They also provide 4 tuners basic but you can get another 4 for the same price of U Verse. Bottom line, U Verse can’t be beat if the 4 lines work for you. Dish is cheaper but you get occasional rain interruptions (this is a very minor minute or two issue).

I only had the high-speed internet service. They mailed me the router and I had to do it myself. But it was fairly easy (once they did the parts on their side properly).

Glad you got it fixed. A home without electronics is pretty miserable (I am so spoiled!).

I texted this distress call to my son, at 4:45p.m. The AT&T guy had been here since 11:00 am. We had hit an impasse. He only knew the skill of the two month course AT&T had taught him. No computer knowledge. My son has a degree in computer dooley whatsits.

Enter The Dragon: 3 computers. 5 TV’s and a partridge in a pear tree.

Houston we have take off.

But after one phone call it was up and cranking. It is indeed faster. I’m generally happy with it.

The only thing I don’t like (and this is a bit techie, sorry) is that the DNS is hard-programmed into my router. So that some of the things that can be fixed by changing DNSs are not available to me.
