Hi Rob,

Thought this might interest you.  The frangible 9mm cartridges have a bullet which are only 45 grains.  They claim 1850 fps and 342 foot pounds.

The Silver Bear 9mm hollow point are only 94 grains.  1000 fps, 209 foot pounds.

 

Be curious to know what size barrel they are using.

The RBCD (frangible) folks point out that these are good for use in airplanes, etc.  Probably a good think, not that one would get them onto an airplane, but it’s a cartridge for up close and personal use, the only time I’d plan on using them.
